Those rumours you’ve been hearing about girlvirus being transphobic? Those rumours are true. The reasons you’re having trouble finding evidence is because a) it sucks to have to repeat our negative experiences over & over again, especially when folks seem not to really care, not to wanna support us, anyway, b) a lot of discussions that have taken place over the internet have been deleted, c) a lot of discussions have taken place in person and via snail mail and maybe you weren’t there, and d) we are not obligated to “prove” to you that our allegations are true. I’ll tell you right now, there is nothing to be gained by falsely accusing a group of being transphobic, and losing friends over this has been kind of shitty for some of us. It’s not a pleasant situation.
